Karen Stocks portraitIt’s full steam ahead for Stocks, whose team continues to be active in establishing partnerships with media, news, sporting, and enter-tainment bodies to drive take-up and engagement. Three new hires have recently joined – Jonathan Harley as director of media partnerships, Jenny Goodridge as head of business development and platform partnerships, and Luke Hopewell as lead of the new Twitter product Moments. The launch of Twitter Moments into Australia will open opportunities for users to access news as it breaks, with chosen tweets from newsmakers and eyewitnesses. On top of its complex curatorial focus to drive engagement with casual Twitter users, Moments is expected to open up premium advertising opportunities for the platform.
