QMS has announced the first launch partners for SHOP, its new retail out-of-home network.

Car maker Ford, FMCG brand Pilpel, super fund Cbus, business management platform MYOB, GWM, Health Partners and Carbon Savers have signed on to the all-digital network, which generates more than 16 million monthly impressions.

SHOP combines two retail screen networks: Metcash’s “LocalEyes” network, with more than 860 screens across IGA, Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O, Thirsty Camel, Mitre 10, Home Hardware and Total Tools, and The Convenience Network’s 470 screens.

The network supports full-motion video and dynamic creative, and includes closed-loop sales attribution, allowing brands to track conversions from the home through to the store.

More than 70% of Australians live within three kilometres of a SHOP retailer, and the network includes more than 400 regional locations.

The launch partners are a mix of endemic brands, which want to drive purchases at the store threshold, and non-endemic brands, which want to reach local audiences in community settings. QMS says digital OOH drives short-term sales while building long-term brand equity.

Unlocking local audiences

Tim Murphy, QMS Chief Sales Officer, said the immediate partner uptake underscores market demand for access to trusted, everyday retail environments at scale.

“The response to SHOP from advertisers has been incredible. Following our launch at the Nine Upfront, brands recognise the immediate opportunity to connect with active household decision-makers in high-frequency, trusted environments right at the point of decision.

“By bringing together over 1,300 digital screens into a unified, 100% full-motion network, SHOP completes the commercial continuum for brands by enabling a connected, contextual shopper journey. It gives advertisers the scale of a national DOOH buy, delivered with the intimacy of the 'Local Trust Halo' of retail OOH.

“Whether a customer is picking up dinner ingredients at IGA, planning a weekend project at Mitre 10, or grabbing a morning coffee on the go, SHOP is where the power of local audiences can be unlocked. We are thrilled to welcome Ford, Pilpel, Cbus, MYOB, GWM, Health Partners, and Carbon Savers as our foundation partners as we reimagine Retail OOH.”

The network is fully active, with QMS offering 2027 commercial packages that give advertisers access to the audience and data of the wider Nine group.
