Tom Goodwin joins ADMA’s Advisory Committee

Futurist and marketing commentator Tom Goodwin joins ADMA’s Advisory Committee, bringing a global perspective to its future-facing agenda.

The Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has appointed Tom Goodwin as the first internationally-based member of its Advisory Committee (AAC), signalling a growing emphasis on global thinking in its strategic priorities.

Goodwin, a futurist, author and consultant known for challenging marketing orthodoxy, will contribute to the AAC’s agenda across capability-building, regulatory reform, and marketing leadership. The full committee is set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The move follows the appointment of David Morgan as Chair of the AAC earlier this year, with ADMA looking to broaden its base of insight to better prepare members for the rapidly shifting marketing landscape.

ADMA CEO Andrea Martens said: “Tom is one of the most provocative and forward-thinking voices in the industry, with his ability to challenge the status quo and focus on what the future holds for marketers. His keynote at ADMA Global Forum last year struck a powerful chord with delegates and we’re excited for him to bring that same energy and global insight to the Advisory Committee.”

Goodwin, who has worked with Fortune 500 brands and built teams across agencies and consultancies over a 22-year career, said the opportunity to work with ADMA reflected a shared focus on practical, future-ready marketing.

“There are so many external forces threatening to ‘reshape marketing forever’ that it can be overwhelming for even the most experienced marketer to cut through the noise,” said Goodwin. “What drew me to ADMA is its focus on helping marketers build capability for what’s coming next, not just reacting to change for the sake of it.”

ADMA’s Advisory Committee helps set the strategic direction of the organisation and provides industry leadership on emerging trends, talent development and regulatory issues. Goodwin will return to Australia to deliver a new keynote at the 2025 ADMA Global Forum later this year.
