Glamour Australia will release a special print edition on October 17, with Zara Larsson on the cover and advertising support from Myer, Pandora, Racing NSW, Michael Kors and Chandon.

The magazine will be inserted into The Saturday Telegraph and Saturday Herald Sun. Copies will also be available at selected Myer stores beyond that date, as part of the retailer’s role as the brand’s exclusive beauty partner.

The release follows Glamour Australia’s July debut on TikTok and Instagram and the subsequent launch of its Australian website.

Print follows social launch

Glamour Australia recorded nearly 55 million combined media views across TikTok and Instagram between July 1 and October 13, including more than 23 million organic views, according to Dash Social data supplied by News Australia.

The print cover and photoshoot content generated more than eight million Instagram views, according to internal Meta Business Suite data. The cover alone recorded 3.4 million impressions, with Gen Z accounting for nearly 80 per cent of total engagement.

Glamour Australia editor Remy Rippon said: “We’ve reimagined Glamour for Australia by giving an iconic global brand a fresh, social-first perspective built specifically for Gen Z and young Millennials. Our launch proves we can meet this audience where they truly live, creating a powerful blueprint to engage the next generation.

“While our social channels remain the core heartbeat of the brand, the special edition taps into a genuine Gen Z nostalgia for print, giving our audience a space to unwind with the written word and connect deeply with the topics that matter to them.”

The issue includes celebrity profiles, career guides, travel and beauty coverage. Features include interviews with creators Jake Shane and Sophia Begg, a profile of the siblings behind indie-pop band Wasia Project, and an essay on Gen Z’s interest in health club culture.

Myer backs the edition

The Myer distribution gives Glamour Australia a retail presence alongside its newspaper inserts and digital channels.

News Australia chief revenue officer Lou Barrett said: “Glamour Australia is reframing our conversations with clients. We’ve built an integrated proposition across content, commerce, social and physical retail that mirrors how younger audiences discover and buy today. Anchored by major partners like Myer, Glamour delivers genuine, full-funnel value for advertisers.”

The brand officially launched at The Collider in Sydney on October 15, with media executives and commercial partners in attendance.

News Australia said Glamour Australia would launch on additional platforms later this year, but did not name them.
