VMO appoints Sam Staples Queensland Sales Director

VMO has appointed Sam Staples to the newly created role of Queensland Sales Director, effective immediately.

Staples has more than 15 years' experience across cinema, outdoor and digital media, including two stints with VMO. 

He first joined the business in 2013 as its inaugural Queensland Sales Executive before returning in 2018 as Group Sales Manager. He was promoted to Queensland Sales Manager in 2022.

First person to hold the role

The appointment makes Staples the first person to hold the Queensland Sales Director position.

Staples said that “having joined VMO as the first Sales Executive in Queensland over 10 years ago, it is a true privilege to now become the first Sales Director in the market".

He continued: "I’ve had the opportunity to witness the growth of the business over many years.is a true privilege to now become the first Sales Director in the market.

Focus on Queensland growth

VMO Australia and New Zealand Sales Director Geoff Cochrane said Staples had played a key role in the company's growth in Queensland.

The creation of the role comes as VMO looks to expand its presence and pursue further growth opportunities in Queensland.
