Death in Paradise continues to be a stand-out performer for the ABC in the Saturday TV ratings. Although the Seven and Nine 6pm news bulletins secured the biggest audiences, the BBC drama was close behind.
Also performing well for the ABC was Call the Midwife which ranked #6 for the night, winning its timeslot with just over 400,000.
Nine and Seven shared primetime leadership with both primary channels locked on 16.4%. Nine was ranked #1 network with Go! contributing 4.9% to its winning network share of 27.6%.
Fox League managed to break into the top 20 shows last night with its coverage of the Panthers v Cowboys NRL clash attracting 183,000 metro viewers. (See below for the total national audience figure.)
Live sport on FTA TV included Super Rugby on Gem with 85,000 watching the Reds overtake the Brumbies for a surprise victory.
7mate was showing AFLW with 45,000 watching in Melbourne and Adelaide as Melbourne continued its good form.
The A-League game on the ABC at 5pm had an audience of 54,000.
