SBS was the big improver week-on-week with a Saturday TV ratings metro share of 9.1% for coverage of the 2021 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. The event was held this year inside the SCG.. That is the biggest SBS share in exactly 12 months, almost equaling its Saturday share of 10.1% for Mardi Gras 2020, the first time it was broadcast live on the channel.
Seven ranked #1 in the TV ratings with Seven News Saturday the most-watched program.
ABC again had the most-watched entertainment programs in the TV ratings with Death in Paradise ranking #3 for the night and Call the Midwife at #6.
