Seeker Agency has delivered the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 175th anniversary Melbourne Ball, with the event selling out for the second consecutive year.

The agency led creative direction, event management and execution for the event, held at 408 The Venue in Southbank on 23 July. Founding partners included Solutions Entertainment, Atlantic Group and Harry the Hirer. The event was attended by Victorian business and government leaders, including Victorian Treasurer Jaclyn Symes, and hosted by Andy Lee.

Marking the milestone

The event was built around the theme "Interwoven", celebrating the Chamber's 175-year history. Entertainment was provided by Solutions Entertainment, with performances by Sounds of Arlo, Georga Byrne, Thndo and DJ Claudia Allegro.

Brad Hampel, Founder & CEO, SE Group, said:

"Being part of the Melbourne Ball alongside our partners for a second year was an absolute privilege. The real story is 175 years of Victorian business. Having the business community and government leaders in the same room, sharing ideas and having real conversations about how we move the needle for Victoria, was genuinely exciting to witness."

Victorian Chamber chief executive Sally Curtain said:

“In just its second year, the Melbourne Ball has become one of the most anticipated nights on the Victorian business calendar. This anniversary belongs to our members: 175 years of businesses backing this state. Seeker Agency wove that story through the whole night, and our members saw themselves in it.”
