Samsung TV Plus ANZ is ahead of the creator-driven race securing various global creators to launch eight new FAST channels across Australia and New Zealand.
The move includes the worldwide premiere of Mark Rober’s first-ever dedicated FAST channel, a significant milestone as the free streaming service marks five years in market.
Available on more than 4.4 million Samsung Smart TVs across ANZ and reaching over nine million viewers, Samsung TV Plus continues to position itself as a key player in the FAST landscape.
Mark Rober leads creator-first expansion
With over 71 million subscribers, former NASA engineer and creator Mark Rober headlines the new slate.
His channel brings his signature mix of immersive science, engineering, creativity and big-scale experiments to the biggest screen in the home.
“I’ve always believed science and engineering are just fancy words for curiosity and creativity,” Rober said.
“This channel is a way to spread that spirit to even more people around the world. It’s a way to make learning feel fun – something you want to do, not something you have to do.”
Rober’s channel sits alongside new FAST launches from Dhar Mann TV, Michelle Khare’s Challenge Accepted, Mr Beast, Epic Gardening TV, The Try Guys, Brave Wilderness and The SorryGirlsTV.
Samsung TV Plus has launched more than 350 FAST channels across ANZ since 2020, but this latest wave marks its most creator-driven slate to date.
The channels introduce new genres across science, challenges, survival, DIY, lifestyle, and entertainment curated to appeal to multi-generational households.
The offering reflects the broader global strategy from Samsung TV Plus to elevate creator-led programming onto television, converting YouTube-born audiences into living-room viewers.
A global push
The new channels are part of Samsung’s wider game plan to shape what the next era of entertainment looks like combining premium creators with a curated, lean-back TV environment.
“Mark Rober’s blend of science, creativity, and curiosity have inspired millions around the world,” said Salek Brodsky, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus.
“As part of our growing Creator roster, Mark Rober TV captures a shared sense of wonder that brings generations together. We’re thrilled to welcome Mark and our expansive slate of Creators to even more audiences around the world through Samsung TV Plus.”
