Ryvalmedia Brisbane has appointed Jason Kendal as business director, as the digital-first agency looks to build on recent new business momentum and expand its local team.
The appointment was announced on 5 February, 2026 and is effective immediately. Kendal will work with clients across strategy, growth and delivery.
Kendal joins with more than 30 years’ experience, having held senior roles at Ikon, EssenceMediacom and BCM.
Ryvalmedia said the hire follows a strong period of growth, with recent wins including SOAK Bathhouse, and an expanded remit with Gardner Vaughan Group.
The agency also pointed to ongoing work with key clients, including Mahindra Automotive Australia, which it said had a milestone year in 2025 with double-digit growth and a top 20 ranking among mainstream automotive brands. It also cited The Deaf Lottery reaching a record $1 million prize pool.
Ryvalmedia Brisbane managing director Mark Power said: “Jason’s appointment strengthens our leadership as we continue to grow our client portfolio and deliver results that make a real impact. These wins reflect the confidence clients place in our team and the work we do.”
Kendal said the role was a natural fit. “Ryvalmedia’s focus on performance, strategy, and client outcomes aligns perfectly with my experience. I’m excited to contribute to the agency’s next phase of growth,” he said.
The agency said its Brisbane team has grown to 20 people, with further expansion planned into 2026.
Ryvalmedia describes itself as a digital-first marketing and media specialist focused on performance, data and analytics. The business is part of the RyanCap group, led by CEO and founder Simon Ryan, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
