Kyle Sandilands has claimed his new streaming show is facing daily bot attacks from Canberra, China and Russia, alleging attempts to shut down the platform began after interviews with Pauline Hanson and Barnaby Joyce.

Speaking on Kyle Sandilands Live on Wednesday, Sandilands said thousands of bots had targeted the platform since the pair appeared on the show a couple of weeks earlier.

“This platform, ever since we had Pauline Hanson on a couple of weeks ago and Barnaby Joyce, every single day, every single day following those two being on here, bots have been attacking us out of Canberra, China, and Russia,” he said.

Sandilands alleged the activity was designed to overwhelm the platform.

“They're trying to bombard it with that much junk that that it shuts the platform down.”

Bruno also claimed previous ventures associated with Sandilands had been targeted.

“They went after King Kyle in the past. They've gone after me when I was at KJ in the past.”

‘We will not be silenced’

Sandilands later repeated the allegations in an Instagram video, describing the activity as “a full attack from multiple countries and our own”.

“And I just don't understand, where's the end game here?” he said. “Like, what are you trying to do?”

He vowed to keep broadcasting and scrutinising government spending.

“We will not be shut down. We will not be silenced. We will say whatever we want.”

“And we will investigate government waste and exceeding expenditure and all the fucking shit that goes along with it.”

The supplied statements did not establish who was responsible for the alleged attacks or substantiate government involvement.

Sandilands finished the video with another declaration that the show would continue.

“We will not be shut down. We will not falter. We are here to stay.”

Kyle’s One Nation connection

Sandilands previously spoke about his relationship with Hanson in June, telling listeners on his network that he had been working with the senator and her team after being dropped from KIIS FM.

“(I’ve) been working on them to get their messaging across, which I think has been well received,” he said. He described Hanson as a “surprise” and “very inspirational”, adding: “She’s, like, one of my favourite people now.”

A One Nation spokesperson confirmed the relationship to Mediaweek ahead of his broadcasting comeback.

“Kyle and Pauline have spent a little bit of time together over recent months,” the spokesperson said.

“Kyle and Pauline are often mischaracterised, but there's no mistaking their passion for this country.”
