Zurich Financial Services Australia will relocate its Perth headquarters to 140 St Georges Terrace and secure prominent signage rights on the 30-storey skyscraper from November 2025.
The move signals a centralisation of Zurich’s Western Australian operations and marks the first time the tower’s signage has changed in half a century.
“We are incredibly proud to see the Zurich brand become part of the Perth skyline, marking a significant milestone for our business in Western Australia,” said Justin Delaney, Chief Executive Officer at Zurich.
“Our new presence at 140 St Georges Terrace reflects our long-term commitment to the state and our local customers, partners, and people. We look forward to… being part of the city’s vibrant business community.”
Constructed in 1975, the building was once Perth’s tallest office tower and remains one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. It is managed by Centuria Capital Group and features amenities including fitness classes, conference spaces, concierge services, and end-of-trip facilities.
Zurich has signed a seven-year lease for 700 square metres on Level 14 of the building.

Nick Hunt, WA General Manager at Centuria, said: “Zurich and Centuria have enjoyed a long-term relationship with the global insurer also being a tenant customer at our purpose-built boutique office complex in Wyatt Street, Adelaide. We warmly welcome Zurich to its new Perth home and look forward to growing our relationship further.”
Zurich has been active in the Australian market since 1920 and provides life insurance to over 1.5 million Australians, following its 2019 acquisition of OnePath Life from ANZ.
