Seven has appointed singer Ricki-Lee and comedian Jim Jefferies as co-hosts of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, with the new season to film in the South African jungle and premiere on Seven and 7plus in 2027.

The pair will oversee a new cast of celebrities competing for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle. According to Seven, the season will keep the format's trials, camp drama and confessional moments, while adding new twists and series firsts.

Ricki-Lee, an ARIA-nominated, multi-platinum recording artist whose credits include Australian Idol and Nova 96.9 Breakfast, said the role will take her to Africa for the first time.

"I couldn't be more excited to be heading to Africa for the very first time to host one of the most iconic shows in the world. I'm such a massive fan and it's a huge honour," she said.

"For years I've watched on from the comfort of my couch and now I get to experience it up close and personal – while standing comfortably off to the side with Jim."

Jefferies, whose recent credits include The 1% Club Australia, said he accepted the offer quickly.

"When Seven asked if I'd like to spend weeks in the African jungle watching celebrities eat strange things and embarrass themselves on national television, I couldn't say yes fast enough. It sounds like my ideal holiday," Jefferies said.

Majella Hay, Director of Content, Unscripted at Seven, said the casting was built on the differences between the two hosts.

"Individually, Ricki-Lee and Jim couldn't be more different but that's exactly what makes this pairing so exciting," Hay said.

“I'm a Celebrity… is a format built to be talked about, and with Ricki-Lee and Jim Jefferies as hosts, the show will be impossible to ignore.”

The celebrity cast and a premiere date have not been announced.
