Total TV Ratings, February 11

The Chase Australia was the top entertainment program in the total TV ratings with 727,000, followed closely by Better Homes and Gardens with 705,000. 

The top rating segment of the Winter Olympics for the day was the evening which had 564,000 viewers, up 2%.

On Nine, A Current Affair had 725,000 viewers before David Attenborough’s Green Planet had 563,000.

On the ABC, Midsomer Murders had 676,000, up 14% on its overnight ratings.

Seven was the #1 primary channel (23.6%) and network (35.1%) last night thanks to its winning combination of The Chase Australia (417,000), Better Homes and Gardens (402,000) and the Winter Olympics.

Day: 181,000  (136,000 metro, 53,000 regional)
Afternoon: 261,000 (125,000 metro, 58,000 regional)
Evening: 648,000 (311,000 metro, 129,000 regional
Night: 648,000 (360,000 metro, 144,000 regional)
Late: 481,000 (343,000 metro, 134,000 regional)

On Nine, A Current Affair had 459,000 viewers before David Attenborough’s Green Planet had 296,000.

The ABC had the #1 entertainment program last night in Gardening Australia which brought in 418,000 viewers. This was followed by the dutch crime show Van Der Valk with 387,000.

On 10, The Project had 154,000 (6:30pm) and 222,000 (7:00pm) as the show continued to cover the developing situation on the Ukraine border. The Graham Norton Show then followed with 196,000, the episode featured Adele, Dame Helen Mirren, Jim Broadbent, Golda Rosheuvel and George Ezra.

The Lakes with Simon Reeve was the top program on SBS with 116,000. 

STV

The T20 had an average of 173,500 viewers on Fox Cricket as the Australians continued their dominance with a six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka.

The NRL pre-season trials kicked off last night on Fox League, as the Canberra Raiders played the Sydney Roosters, and the Wests Tigers took on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. The matches had an average of 84,000 viewers between them.
