Independent agency Thompson Spencer has capped off a standout October with four new award shortlistings, spanning both international and local recognition.
The full-funnel agency has been named a finalist in three categories at the Campaign Agency of the Year Awards 2025 – Australia / New Zealand Independent Agency of the Year, Social Media Agency of the Year, and Influencer Marketing Agency of the Year.
The internationally recognised awards celebrate excellence in creative and marketing performance across the Asia-Pacific region.
Adding to its momentum, Thompson Spencer has also been shortlisted for The Pressie Awards 2025 in Best Use of Social, for its Auckland Transport campaign Safety at the School Gate, fronted by Kiwi actor and comedian Karen O’Leary.
The Pressies honour campaigns in Aotearoa that influence change and deliver measurable social impact.
“Being recognised across multiple major awards programmes here in New Zealand and on a global stage is something we’re fizzing with pride about,” said Melanie Spencer, Co-CEO of Thompson Spencer.
“These shortlists represent the backstory to our work: the future focus, the creativity, the expertise, the growing scale, and the consistent insightfulness of our team. To be named among the region’s top independent agencies is a huge reflection of how far and fast we’ve grown, and how powerfully the collaboration across our specialist teams is playing off.”
The nominations follow a series of recent industry acknowledgements for the agency.
Winners of the Campaign Agency of the Year Awards will be announced in Singapore on 9 December, with The Pressies winners revealed on 12 November.
