Stuart Bailey joins Clemenger BBDO as Chief Media Officer

Stuart Bailey has been appointed as Chief Media Officer of Clemenger BBDO, as the agency expands its integrated offering combining creativity and media to drive business results.

Bailey brings more than 20 years of experience across the UK and Australia in media, digital transformation, business management and agency leadership. He has held senior roles within major agency groups, including OMG, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at PHD Australia.

He has worked with brands including McDonald’s, Unilever, Telstra, PepsiCo, Kellogg’s, ANZ, Virgin Australia, VW and Village Roadshow. His experience covers business operations, digital acceleration, trading and client leadership.

Bailey has also been active in industry initiatives. As Chair of the MFA Interactive Committee, he oversaw the development of the MFA Digital Foundations exam, completed by more than 1,000 professionals nationally.

He co-created the Australian Digital Advertising Practices in collaboration with the IAB, MFA and AANA, focusing on viewability, brand safety and ad fraud. His work earned him the MFA Industry Contribution award.

The appointment completes Clemenger BBDO’s leadership team with Stephen de Wolf, Suzanne Croxford and Nicole Armstrong, and follows recent account wins including Kmart and COLORBOND steel.
