Netflix releases teaser for Allen, an Aussie film from Bluey creators and Daley Pearson

Netflix has released the official teaser Allen, a new Australian feature film from Ludo Studios and the brilliant mind of Australian creative Daley Pearson.

Allen is the first live-action feature film produced by Brisbane-based Ludo Studio (the Emmy and BAFTA-winning team behind Bluey).

It premieres globally on Netflix on November 12, 2026.

The movie is a heartwarming family tale of friendship, nostalgia, and adventure set in a Queensland coastal town, following Petey twenty years after he lost his best friend, Allen.

Shot across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, it's a truly Aussie tale of mateship.

Pearson said, “Allen is really a story about love, family and all those big and small moments from childhood that end up shaping who we are when we grow up. Getting the opportunity to make this story in this part of the world – in the town where I grew up in, inspired by the friends and family I grew up with – is a dream.

“We created Allen for families to watch together.”
