Seven Media Group has appointed former Bauer Media Group executive Adrian Goss as general counsel and Foxtel veteran Fiona Stuart as executive counsel, entertainment, expanding its legal leadership following the merger of Seven and Southern Cross Austereo (SCA).
Goss will oversee the group’s legal strategy, corporate governance, enterprise risk and commercial legal operations. Stuart will report to Goss and lead legal and business affairs across entertainment.
Goss takes on group-wide remit
Goss brings more than 25 years of legal, governance and executive leadership experience across Australian and international media markets. He most recently served as vice president of legal and governance at Bauer Media Group, where he led those functions across its European audio markets.
Stuart to lead entertainment business affairs
Stuart joins Seven Media Group from the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026, where she was executive general manager of legal, compliance and procurement. She has more than 20 years’ experience in legal and business affairs, including a decade as senior legal counsel at Foxtel and senior roles at HOYTS Group, Matchbox Pictures and Screentime Entertainment.
“Fiona brings extensive production experience and deep expertise to the Group’s already strong legal function,” Goss said. “In her role, she will create significant opportunities to bring together the Group’s production, content and commercial capabilities.”

Stuart said the merger opened up opportunities for the group and the wider industry.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Seven Media Group at this pivotal time. The merger of Seven and SCA brings together two important and influential Australian media organisations, creating exciting opportunities for the industry and for the business. I’m looking forward to being part of that journey and to building on the strengths of both organisations through a strong, collaborative Legal and Business Affairs function that supports the creativity, commercial opportunities and ambitions of the group.”
