Seven’s Farmer Wants A Wife delivered an emotionally charged first half of its finale, mixing heartfelt confessions with real-world challenges.
In a pivotal moment, Farmer Jack revealed his deepening feelings for 29-year-old personal assistant Sarah, telling her he was falling in love.
“My feelings for you have grown stronger and stronger, and whether we’re sitting in silence or talking for hours, I feel completely at ease with you,” Jack said.
Sarah responded saying she felt “incredible” and excited about their future together.
“My heart’s beating out of my chest!” she said before thanking Jack for making her feel “incredible.”
“Thank you so much. It’s been so easy just being around you, and I feel like we’re growing closer and closer.
“I’m just so excited, and I can’t wait to keep learning more about you, spending time together, and planning our future,” Sarah said.
Corey’s family visits introduce real-life tension
Farmer Corey’s journey added complexity with visits to finalist Keeley’s family in Romsey and Chloe’s family on the Sunshine Coast.
Keeley’s parents expressed concern about her leaving a secure job for farm life, leading to a frank conversation about timing, Corey admitting that a ten-month wait would be difficult for him.
“I feel as though waiting for love is worth it, but if you’re talking about ten months, that would absolutely kill me,” he confessed.
His meeting with Chloe’s family was warmer, with Corey feeling more confident about a future with her.
“Speaking to Amanda and Catherine, I can see myself fitting into their family,” Corey said. “I feel like I can definitely picture a life with Chloe more clearly now.”
