Yakkazoo appoints Felippe Diaz to drive growth and partnerships

He’s stepping into a newly created role.

Yakkazoo has strengthened its leadership bench, appointing industry veteran Felippe Diaz as Director of Strategic Partnerships & Growth, as the agency builds momentum following its recent relaunch.

The newly created role signals Yakkazoo’s ambitions to accelerate growth and expand its experiential footprint across Asia-Pacific, at a time when brands are leaning harder into live, immersive experiences that can deliver both cut-through and measurable results.

Yakkazoo is part of Australian-owned Venetian Media Group, and the appointment underscores the group’s broader push to invest in leadership as demand for experiential strategy continues to climb.

A growth hire with global experience

Diaz joins Yakkazoo from Just Global, where he served as Senior Vice President before later returning to the business as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand.

Across his career, Diaz has built a reputation for delivering experiential work that connects audiences while driving commercial outcomes – experience that Yakkazoo is betting will help sharpen its strategic partnerships and unlock new growth.

“I’m thrilled to join Yakkazoo at a moment when the agency is redefining how brands connect with audiences through experiences,” Diaz said.

“There’s a clear opportunity to help clients get the most out of their live and experiential programs.”

In the role, Diaz will work closely with Yakkazoo General Manager Rosie Thompson-Jones to drive expansion and deepen relationships with clients and partners.

Building momentum post-relaunch

Thompson-Jones said the appointment marks an important next step for the agency as it looks to scale following its relaunch.

“Felippe brings a deep understanding of how to build partnerships that deliver real business impact,” she said.

“His experience will be critical as we continue to grow and help brands engage more meaningfully with their audiences through world-class experiences.”
