Social media influencer brothers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate have been arrested in the US after British authorities announced they were bringing further charges against the toxic pair.

Video shared by TMZ the men being perp-walked in handcuffs at an event venue in Miami, where Andrew Tate, 39, was co-hosting a bare-knuckle boxing event. 

British prosecutors are seeking extradition of the brothers from the US on rape and sex trafficking charges - from a now total of seven alleged victims.

But forget about that - let's talk about what really matters: What was Andrew Tate wearing when he suffered this horrible, life-changing event? Was he ‘asking for it’?

Those questions in that moment are relevant because that's the kind of reasoning and use of old tropes that the brothers have spruiked to millions for years in the “manosphere” of extreme toxic masculinity.

According to the brothers, a “high value” woman wouldn't wear a skin-tight outfit. An attention-seeking purple shirt, unbuttoned to almost the naval, displaying much of the torso.

Pants as tight as leggings, jewellery so heavy and ostentatious it's akin to Mr T's (JFGI if you are Gen Z).

And yet, that's what Andrew Tate was wearing to a public event. A professional gig. *clutches pearls

I mean, dressed like that, surely he was literally begging for something bad to happen to him?

But actually, they are horrified in complete mockery.

Social media commentary hilarious includes:

“Found my Halloween costume.”

"I'm a 52 year old woman. Hand to gawd, I wore an almost identical outfit today." 

"The outfit choice alone should be enough for an arrest." 

"Is that the fashion police?" 

"Are those... Capri pants?"

The responses are poetic, considering it's the exact opposite of what Andrew Tate was attempting to project.

Who are Andrew and Tristan Tate?

The Tate brothers are professional kickboxers turned massive social media influencers, preaching to vulnerable-minded men about luxury lifestyles and unmitigated misogyny.

Andrew Tate has amassed over 10 million followers on X - although he's been banned from YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, for violating hate speech guidelines.

He's notorious for his extreme toxic masculinity, including comments that women who are sexually assaulted should bear some responsibility for their attacks, and explicit descriptions/suggestions of how he might attack women.

The brothers are worshipped as much as they are suspected rapists, accused sex traffickers, and unapologetic, revolting assholes.
