Total TV Ratings, February 15

Married at First Sight (MAFS) was once again the #1 program in the total TV ratings with 1.697m viewers, up 51%. The episode saw intimacy week continue, but the tasks assigned by Alessandra only led to worse tensions between Holly and Andrew.

Home and Away was the top non-news program for Seven with 1.026m viewers, up 22%. The top rating segment of the Winter Olympics came in the night session with 645,000 tuning in.

Australian Survivor had 834,000 viewers, up 48%.

Nine cruised to an easy win last night after registering both the #1 primary channel share (24.5%) and network share (31.6%). 

The driving force behind this strong result for Nine was once again Married at First Sight (MAFS) which was once again the top non-news program for the evening with 845,000 viewers. The episode saw the final intruder wedding as the honeymoons for the other new sets of brides and grooms began to implode. MAFS was also #1 in all key demos.

The Hundred with Andy Lee then followed with 406,000 viewers, which was up on last week’s 361,000 viewers. The episode featured Mike Goldstein, Celia Pacquola and Nazeem Hussain.

On Seven, Home and Away was the top non-news program with 498,000 viewers. This was followed by SAS Australia’s second episode of the year which had 378,000 viewers, this follows its launch on Monday of 467,000. After no recruits went home in the first episode, three went home last night with Melissa Tkautz, Orpheus Pledger, and Michael Zerafa calling it quits. While the ratings are down compared to season 2, it will be interesting to see the show’s total TV ratings this time next week.

On 10, The Project had 230,000 (6:30pm) and 377,000 (7:00pm) as the show continued to cover the conflict in Ukraine as well as discussing Donald Trump launching his new social media platform. The panel also spoke to Joel Creasey.

Australian Survivor then followed with 507,000 viewers which was up on last week’s 438,000 viewers. The show was #2 in its timeslot and also in all key demos. The episode saw both tribes go to council with Ben and Mel then forced to make fire to stay in the game, with Ben’s game then going up in smoke after losing to Mel and being sent home.

On the ABC, Outback Ringer had 247,000 before Catalyst then had 209,000.

The top program on SBS was the UK version of Who Do You Think You Are? with 224,000 tuning in.
