• HBO Max’s Our Flag Means Death has topped the New Zealand charts for a second week

Netflix’s Bridgerton season two has risen to the top of Australia’s digital original series and overall shows with 32.75 points above market average in its second week back on screens. The period drama series created by Chris Van Dusen also came second in New Zealand with 19.7 points after failing to place in New Zealand’s top ten last week.

HBO Max’s Our Flag Means Death has topped the New Zealand charts for a second week, with 28.91 points above average. The series has also dropped from first to second in Australia, hitting 31.45 points above average.

The Mandalorian has placed third in Australia’s digital originals with 20.33 points above market average while falling to seventh from third in New Zealand with 10.15 points above the market.

Disney Plus original Moon Knight claimed the fourth spot in New Zealand with 12.63 points above average after its premiere on March 30. The first episode of the new Marvel series garnered an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes as it placed eighth in Australia’s digital series with 13.72 points. Moon Knight follows the journey of Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), a museum gift shop employee who is plagued with blackouts and memories of another life.

Star Trek: Picard has placed fourth in Australia’s original series with 17.91 points and third in New Zealand with 15.52 above average.

Sesame Street was the third most-watched show in Australia’s overall TV shows with 25.65 points above the average as the show gets ready to welcome a new character called Ameera. The new Muppet, who uses a wheelchair or forearm crutches, will make her debut on the new season of Ahlan Simsim – the version of Sesame Street that airs in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Walking Dead ranked fourth in Australia’s overall shows with 22.18 points above average and third in New Zealand with 16.72 points.

The 2022 Oscars was the fifth most-watched TV show in New Zealand, clocking 16.23 above the market average.
