Making a clean sweep of the TV demand charts is HBO Max original, Our Flag Means Death. The romantic comedy series set in the early 18th century has come in 23.69 points above market average in Australia and 21.59 points above average in New Zealand, making it the most-watched series across the board this week.

The series, created by David Jenkins (People of Earth) and executive produced by Taika Waititi, is loosely based on the adventures of real-life Stede Bonnet (played by Rhys Darby), a former British Army major and sugar farmer of the 18th century, who decides to leave his life behind to launch a career as a pirate. A second season is yet to be confirmed.

The Mandalorian and Star Trek: Picard are #2 and #3 in both the Australian and New Zealand digital original charts. The Mandalorian continues to rank well, as reports that certain crew members for The Mandalorian season three have completed their time on set. The series came in at 20.37 points above average in Australia and 12.66 points in New Zealand.

Paramount + original, Star Trek: Picard comes in at 18.02x in Australia and 14.73 points in New Zealand.

Netflix’s Bridgerton made its way into the charts as season two premiered on March 25. It placed fifth in Australia with 15.66 points above average and seventh in New Zealand with 9.3 points.

Netflix’s The Last Kingdom has dropped from second place in Australia last week to fourth with 16.91 points above average and 12.04 points in New Zealand in the TV demand charts.

Sesame Street came in second in Australia’s overall TV shows with 23.59 points above average, as the show debuted a new muppet character, named Ameera to support children affected by conflict and crisis.

Outlander ranked #2 in New Zealand’s overall shows with 17.69 points above average while placing third in Australia with 22.84. Married At First Sight was fourth in Australia with 21.36x and third in New Zealand with 15.71 points.
