Triple M is expanding its talent search in a major way, announcing the six Breakfast shows selected for its inaugural national Pilot Week.
The initiative opens the network’s platform to a mix of emerging creators, everyday Australians and experienced broadcasters, giving each show a two-hour national slot across metro markets.
The lineup originally intended to feature five shows, but the strength of submissions saw the final list extended to six.
Pilot Week kicks off Monday 15 December and continues through Saturday, with each show airing from 6am–8am and available to stream on LiSTNR.
Monday – Swag on the Beat: Jack Say & Isaac Gibbons

Melbourne duo Jack and Isaac bring their surreal sketch-comedy energy from TikTok and Instagram — where they’ve built a million-plus following — into their first national radio slot.
Tuesday – The MacPack: Jake, Joe & Riley McKenna

Three Perth brothers with big sibling chemistry, sports fandom and chaotic storytelling. The MacPack deliver a 20-something take on life that already resonates with their growing audience.
Wednesday – Paddy & Maz: Paddy Gerrard & Maz Compton

Already a hit on Triple M Central Coast, Paddy & Maz bring warm, feel-good radio and a familiar Breakfast rhythm to a national audience.
Thursday – Jean, Tim & Pep: Jean Margaret, Tim Mountford & Mark “Pep” Pepper

A trio created by the network: Jean, a former lawyer; Tim, an experienced audio producer; and Pep, a Melbourne car salesman whose natural storytelling stood out in the application phase. Expect curious, energetic and unpredictable radio.
Friday – The Tag Team: Shaun Malseed, Hunter Smith & Harry Lloyd

Originally from JOY FM in Melbourne, this trio blends humour, trend commentary and a sharp writing sensibility honed across TV, film and production.
Saturday – Yeah Good: Max Price, Troy Kinne & Tom Siegert

Sketch-comedy favourites Max, Troy and Tom bring their irreverent tone and observational comedy to Saturday Breakfast tackling the “topics that don’t matter” and offering listeners a light weekend lift.
The six selected shows were chosen from a competitive Top 10 list reviewed by a panel of senior content directors. Other standout finalists included:
Eliza and Liberty Paschke
Fergus Neal and Louis Phillips
Isaac Smith and Elliot Garnaut
Steph de Sousa and Emily Tresidder
Each finalist team worked closely with Triple M’s content directors and producers to refine and record their pilots.
The project continues Triple M’s long legacy of identifying and nurturing emerging Australian talent, following hits like Lu & Jarch.
Triple M backs fresh voices and new storytelling
Matthew O’Reilly, SCA Head of Broadcast Content, said the level of interest far exceeded expectations.
“Pilot Week has already been a huge success, offering a unique opportunity to discover fresh talent, with an incredible array of talent putting their hand up for a Triple M first. We were impressed by the diversity of applications, from everyday Aussies to internet favourites and experienced broadcasters, all with unique stories and ideas,” he said.
“While we initially intended to select five breakfast shows, the quality of the submissions was simply too strong to pass up the opportunity to showcase another great show. We’re excited for listeners to hear six very different Breakfast shows next week, each bringing their own personality, chemistry, and style, to Triple M.”
