SCA snaps up ex-ARN traffic king Vic Lorusso
He'll officially start on Monday, 22 July, the very day Lorusso will celebrate his 26th year in the media.

Just days after it was announced that veteran traffic reporter Vic Lorusso's services would no longer be needed at ARN, it looks like he's found a new place to park his talents.
The atn Chief Executive Officer and gtn Global Chief Executive Officer has announced he's joining, wait for it, competitor SCA.
Splitsville
Last week, ARN confirmed it would end its contract with traffic provider gtn, bringing its traffic reporting function in-house.
The gtn deal, reportedly worth more than $10 million, had covered traffic reports and advertising sales across ARN's stations.
Neither ARN nor gtn issued an official statement on that change at the time.
Lorusso was appointed gtn's global chief executive late last year, taking on responsibility for the business across its four markets.
SCA's pitch
Matthew O'Reilly, SCA Head of Broadcast Content, said Lorusso was "an absolute institution on Sydney radio."

"For a quarter of a century, Sydneysiders have relied on Vic's unmatched knowledge and reassuring presence to navigate their daily commute," O'Reilly said.
"He has a strong bond with the city, and we are thrilled to give him a new home on 2DayFM and Triple M, ensuring his trusted expertise stays right where it belongs on Sydney's airwaves."
Lorusso said he grew up listening to both stations. "I am delighted to be joining the 2DayFM and Triple M breakfast teams," Lorusso said.
"I grew up listening to these iconic Sydney stations, so I am thrilled to now be part of their on-air success. SCA and atn share a long-standing trusted partnership which I am immensely proud of. I am delighted to continue supporting the commuters of Sydney and reporting across atn's network."
