Thinkerbell announces the passing of "colleague and friend" Lara Barnett
"Vibrant, fun, and endlessly witty, Lara never took life too seriously, qualities that made her both a friend to many and a beloved presence across the industry."

On Monday afternoon, the Thinkerbell agency announced “with deep sadness…the news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Lara Barnett, following a courageous battle with cancer."
In a LinkedIn post, the company made the following statement:
"Vibrant, fun, and endlessly witty, Lara never took life too seriously, qualities that made her both a friend to many and a beloved presence across the industry.
“More than anything, Lara was a beautiful, devoted mother whose world revolved around her son and family.”

Thinkerbell continued in its post:
"In her professional career, Lara brought that same warmth and nurturing nature to every role. She had a rare talent for bringing order, calm, and genuine compassion to the high-pressure world of creative workflow management, always bringing a smile, a generous spirit, and a healthy dose of witty banter for everyone around her.

“She was in a role focused on managing people's capacity, but she understood better than most that what someone had on their plate didn't equate to the number of hours they could give. She had an incredible ability to recognise when someone needed extra support, a laugh, or just someone to listen.”
The statement also added a comment from a colleague.
"Margie shared a tribute on behalf of all who worked alongside her:
“Lara fought so hard, and her strength was truly inspiring. I will always remember the grace with which she embraced each of the truly daunting hurdles that kept coming her way. And she did it with the style in which she lived her life, optimism, mixed with a hint of sarcasm and dry wit.
"Lara will be missed but never forgotten.”
Thinkerbell announced that a funeral service will be held by the family with close friends and colleagues on Friday 23rd October at The Nielsen in Vaucluse.
