The Invisible Orthodontist has appointed Lora Nash-Legrys as Chief Digital Innovation Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the business accelerates its global growth strategy and investment in AI driven innovation.
The appointment signals a renewed focus on digital performance, automation and emerging technologies as competition intensifies across the orthodontic sector and practices look for smarter ways to grow, compete and operate.
Nash-Legrys steps into the newly formalised role after more than a decade helping to shape TIO’s digital evolution, including its work in AI, digital education and innovation programs supporting orthodontic practices worldwide.
A strategic move to accelerate digital innovation
Digital capability sits at the centre of TIO’s strategy as the orthodontic market continues to evolve.
With increased competition and rising expectations around performance and efficiency, TIO is positioning itself to help practices build stronger digital foundations and adopt new technologies at scale.
As chief digital innovation officer, Nash-Legrys will lead TIO’s technology roadmap, overseeing the integration of automation, AI-powered insights, product development and digital performance frameworks.
Her remit includes accelerating the rollout of new tools, improving data visibility and equipping practices with infrastructure designed to deliver measurable results.
Tim Donoghue, CEO of The Invisible Orthodontist, said the appointment marks a defining moment for the business.
“Lora’s promotion signals the beginning of a new digital chapter for TIO, one defined by accelerated innovation, expanded AI capability and groundbreaking tools designed to elevate practice performance globally,” Donoghue said.
“Lora has been instrumental in shaping our digital trajectory, and her leadership has already transformed how practices engage with technology.
As we enter this next phase, her strategic vision and ability to operationalise cutting-edge solutions will be central to how TIO supports orthodontists to grow, compete and win in an increasingly complex market.”
From digital strategy to AI leadership
Nash-Legrys has played a key role in expanding TIO’s digital capabilities over the past decade, with strengths spanning solution design, emerging technology and digital strategy. Her work has focused on bridging the gap between innovation and practical outcomes for orthodontic practices.
She is also the architect of tioSEO, TIO’s proprietary digital performance platform, which has become a cornerstone of the company’s technology offering.
Since launch, tioSEO has delivered measurable results for practices, including a 161 per cent increase in year-on-year organic traffic, a 1,100 per cent lift in webchat conversions and patient calls, and a 423 per cent surge in search impressions.
These outcomes reflect TIO’s broader focus on building tools that improve visibility, engagement and performance in a highly competitive market.
In her expanded role, Nash-Legrys will continue to drive innovation across AI, automation and digital education, helping practices adopt technology responsibly while improving efficiency and performance.
