Home and Away will launch a major event week on Monday, 20 July at 7.00pm on Seven and 7plus, with three storylines placing Summer Bay relationships and lives under pressure.

The week centres on a boys’ trip that takes a dangerous turn, a new relationship marked by escalating coercive control and a proposal that does not go to plan.

A boys’ trip becomes a rescue mission

Cash, played by Nicholas Cartwright, wins an adventure park package at a Summer Bay Surf Club fundraiser. He invites Tane, played by Ethan Browne, Mali, played by Kyle Shilling, and his brother-in-law Levi, played by Tristan Gorey.

The group begins the trip with archery, laser tag and a high ropes course. Their getaway becomes more serious when they decide to extend the trip with an overnight bush hike.

Without phone reception or anyone knowing their location, the four men face a race against time to save a life. Seven has not revealed which Summer Bay resident will be left in danger when the storyline reaches its cliffhanger.

Harper sees Beau’s controlling behaviour

Elsewhere, Harper, played by Jessica Redmayne, begins to discover another side to her new partner Beau, played by Blake Richardson.

Harper has been unaware that Beau is pressuring Sonny, played by Ryan Bown, to sell steroids at the Summer Bay Fit Gym. During the event week, Beau’s coercive behaviour escalates and raises questions about Harper’s safety.

Dana’s proposal hits a setback

Dana, played by Ally Harris, also plans to propose to Sonny. However, he fails to appear for the romantic gesture, placing the couple’s future in doubt.

Home and Away’s event week begins at 7.00pm on Monday, 20 July on Seven and 7plus.
