Samsung TV Plus expands global creator lineup with new partnerships

Samsung TV Plus has launched new Creator-led channels in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, led locally by a dedicated channel from chef Luke Nguyen, as the free streaming service built into Samsung Smart TVs builds out its digital creator offering.

The service has also extended existing Creator channels into Brazil and Mexico. The new additions span lifestyle, food, sports, news, and science programming.

Luke Nguyen's World lands in Australia

Luke Nguyen's World is now available in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. Samsung describes it as a first-to-FAST channel, marking the programming's debut on free ad-supported streaming television (FAST).

The channel carries more than 95 episodes across nine series starring Nguyen, the Australian-Vietnamese chef, restaurateur, and television presenter. His programming has aired in more than 150 countries and follows him as he explores food, culture, and travel around the world.

Three New Channels for the UK

In the UK, Samsung TV Plus has partnered with 208 Studios on three channels.

Happy Place features interviews from Fearne Cotton's podcast Happy Place, which has more than 15 million followers across social media. Golf Life, the golf and comedy brand from Tubes, Ange, and Jimmy Bullard, has a combined following of more than 3 million. 

JOE Media, the UK millennial news and entertainment brand, has more than 30 million followers across platforms.

Mark Rober TV heads to Latin America

Samsung TV Plus has expanded Mark Rober TV into Brazil and Mexico. The science and engineering channel, fronted by the former NASA engineer, runs dubbed programming 24 hours a day. Rober has more than 79 million followers combined, according to Samsung.

Salek Brodsky, SVP and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus, said the expansion reflected a broader shift in viewing habits.

"The Creator economy is no longer a trend – it's a global phenomenon that's reshaping how audiences discover and engage with content," Brodsky said.

"Samsung TV Plus has been at the forefront of that evolution, giving the world's leading digital storytellers a global platform to grow their brands, while expanding their reach to millions of viewers in a true television environment."

An established creator line-up

The new channels join a Creator slate that already includes Dhar Mann, Michelle Khare, The Try Guys, and Smosh.

According to Samsung, the service has more than 100 million monthly active users worldwide and carries nearly 5,000 ad-supported linear channels across 30 countries. Its channel roster also includes Letterman TV and Conan O'Brien TV.

Samsung TV Plus is available without a subscription on Samsung TVs, Galaxy devices, Samsung Smart Monitor, and Family Hub.
