Sydney Radio Ratings
GfK Survey 4 2026 Survey Period: Sun 19 April to Sat 27 June 2026.

Biggest Movers:
UP: ABC Sydney 0.7
DOWN: Gold 101.7 -1.4

It's beginning to feel a little like Groundhog Day, wouldn't you say? Not that the team at smoothfm would mind.

They have once again won the Sydney radio wars, even increasing their share by 0.3 points to 13.4%, well clear of 2GB on 11.7%.

The real movement, however, is further down the ladder - GOLD101.7 has taken the market's biggest hit, and KIIS1065's Breakfast (can we call it a show yet?) has lost ground for a second straight survey.

Overall movers, ABC Sydney led the gainers, up 0.7 to 5.3%, with SEN 1170am and 2JJJ both up 0.4 (to 1.9% and 3.7%).

GOLD101.7 suffered the biggest slide, down 1.4 points to 7.6% - its cume also dropped 70,000, so it's a genuine audience loss, not just a share quirk.

Meanwhile, its sister station KIIS1065 fell 0.8 to 6.6%.

Triple M and NOVA96.9 both added 42,000 in cume, and even though their share barely moved or slipped slightly, it's encouraging for both SCA and Nova, as it suggests the network is being listened to by more people, though fewer are staying loyal.

Make of that what you will, CDs.

Breakfast

2GB's breakfast stays #1 despite shedding 0.8 to 14.8%, still well clear of smoothfm's breakfast in second (up 0.6 to 12.0%).

SEN 1170am and SKY Sports Radio each added 0.7 points.

KIIS1065's Breakfast was the biggest faller, down 1.1 to 7.1%, while GOLD101.7's Breakfast was also down 0.6 to 6.6%.
