PR icon Roxy Jacenko officially quits Australia with final acts

Sydney PR legend Roxy Jacenko has completely quit Australia, selling her assets and handing over her agency to an employee.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Jacenko, who moved to Singapore three years ago, has been selling her luxury possessions over the last few months, “including furniture, prized number plates, which sold at auction for $309k, and her luxury Range Rover.”

The ‘PR Queen’ has also given her talent management business, The Ministry of Talent, to staffer Emily Hayman.

Sources told the DT that Jacenko is “loving Singapore” and “has no plans to return to Australia on a full-time basis.”

One source said: “Pixie is loving school in Switzerland and is thriving, and Hunter absolutely loves Singapore."

Roxy Jacenko's enormous Sydney legacy

Jacenko has been a headline-making, somewhat controversial identity for decades - one reason why she moved away from Sydney.

She announced in 2022 that she was stepping down as director of her agency Sweaty Betty, which marked the beginning of her slow withdrawal from the city which she was so embedded in.

Jacenko said at the time of her 2004 start: "No uni degree and a half-finished TAFE course, four months’ PR experience and a small office with a fax machine and cordless phone.

“Fast forward to today and I have weathered storms one could only assume you would see on a miniseries and heck, I think I’ve done it with gusto – but now it’s time for me to hang my PR shoes up (and no they were never stilettos they were trainers – why? Cause you can’t run in them) and say goodbye to my working life as I know it.”

Jacenko sold her Vaucluse mansion - her main Sydney residence, where she meticulously planned every luxury detail - before her departure for Singapore in 2023.

All that remains of her Australian property portfolio is her former Sweaty Betty PR headquarters in Paddington. The property passed in at an auction on May 12, 2026, after failing to hit its $10 million-plus price expectations.
