• The agency is being recognised for achievements and practices around health and wellbeing

Paper + Spark was recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand’s Best Places to Work, placing seventh on the prestigious list of over 750 nominated organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

Published by The Australian Financial Review and Boss Magazine, the list is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by Australia’s leading behavioural science consultancy, Inventium.

Paper + Spark was thrilled to be recognised for their achievements and practices around health and wellbeing, work from anywhere anytime, and creative Fridays to name a few.

Zeina Khodr, managing director, Paper + Spark, said: “We’re so proud to have been recognised for our efforts in creating a brilliantly inclusive, diverse, creative and flexible workplace, ranking #7 on the 2022 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Media & Marketing list.

“In under 3.5 years, we’ve prioritised creating a workplace where everyone is welcome, treated equally, can work flexibly and health and wellbeing is a priority – because who doesn’t want this?”

Paper + Spark has been driven to be an agency that does things differently, not just for clients, but most importantly, for their team.

The agency has offered remote and flexible working practices since day one (pre-COVID!) and emphasise a culture where the personal comes before the professional, encouraging their staff members to design a way of working that best suits their individual needs and family commitments.

Paper+Spark noted that wellbeing is a way of life instead of an afterthought and members of their senior leadership team ensure that staff members are supported in taking care of their mental and physical wellbeing as a key priority.

Inventium’s assessment of the agency was made up of a staff survey and a written submission, with questions relating to policies, practices and programs that exist within the organisation to support and get the best out of their employees.

The methodology is underpinned by Inventium’s Workplaces of the Future framework, which identifies ten key factors that are critical to employees feeling motivated and engaged at work and is supported by extensive research.

Inventium founder, Dr Amantha Imber, said: “Inventium is proud to announce the 2022 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work list in conjunction with The Australian Financial Review.

“We have undertaken extensive research into what truly makes a brilliant workplace, and we are thrilled to recognise many organisations who are leading the way with innovative practices that drive key elements such as flexibility, wellbeing, and equality,” she added.
