Mamamia strengthens its podcast team with three senior appointments
Incoming CEO Luca Lavigne says, "We're building shows that live everywhere our audience is, and we're investing in the strongest pod team in the country."

Mamamia, Australia's largest independent digital media company, today announced three senior appointments to its content team: Keeshia Pettit as Executive Producer of Mamamia Out Loud, Australia's #1 podcast, and journalists Charlotte Mortlock and Tamsin Rose as Co-Hosts and Co-Producers of The Quicky, Mamamia's twice-daily news podcast.
Rose will also be Head of Show for The Quicky.
The appointments come as Mamamia continues to grow its shows across audio, video, social and community, and reflects a deliberate investment in the depth of its podcast bench.
Mamamia Content Director Ruth Devine said, "Keeshia, Charlotte and Tamsin each bring the golden mix of craft and audience instinct that powers all our shows. These three journalists all bring industry-leading production and on-air expertise.
“With Keeshia's dedicated following, and two of the sharpest news journalists working today. We couldn't be more thrilled to have them on the team.”

Mamamia makes new appointments to podcasts
Mamamia incoming CEO Luca Lavigne said, "We're building shows that live everywhere our audience is, across audio, video, social and community. That takes exceptional people, and we're investing in the strongest pod team in the country.
"These three appointments are a signal of where we're headed and how serious we are about getting there.”
Mamamia Out Loud is Australia's #1 podcast, with 156.4 million downloads and average monthly listeners up 69 per cent year on year, reaching audiences across more than eight platforms every day.
Keeshia Pettit brings more than a decade of experience across Australian audio. Most recently Executive Producer at Life Uncut, she has built her career from audio editing through to EP. She has hosted breakfast radio on the Hit Network in Central Victoria and sports radio at Triple M Sydney, and her independent work includes Cloud, a 10-part vodcast series on ADHD, and Not An Overnight Success with Gus Worland.
Pettit said, “Out Loud has been part of my daily routine for years, so I’m joining to work on a brand I already know and love. I'm grateful to be working on Australia’s #1 podcast with some of the most intelligent and entertaining podcasters in the country, and I'm excited to be part of what comes next.”
The Quicky is one of the most listened-to daily news podcasts in the country, cutting through the noise twice a day to make sense of the day for a smart, time-poor audience. Mortlock and Rose bring complementary newsroom experience as the successful show moves into its next chapter.
Charlotte Mortlock is a political reporter and news anchor with 12 years in broadcast journalism across New York, Sydney and rural Australia, most recently at Sky News. She has also advised within the Liberal Party, founded the women-in-politics organisation Hilma's Network, and in 2026 founded Something Better Australia, a political campaign organisation.
Mortlock said, "I'm excited to be bringing audiences the conversations under the stories, and why they matter, without fatiguing people. This is a step I'm absolutely delighted to be taking with Mamamia."
Tamsin Rose brings more than a decade of experience across major Australian newsrooms, including Guardian Australia, the ABC and News Corp, reporting on politics, crime and major public-interest stories across print, radio, television and digital. At Guardian Australia she was NSW state correspondent and a fill-in host of the Full Story podcast, and she has reported for triple j's Hack, covered federal politics from Canberra and worked as a crime reporter at the Herald Sun.
Rose said, "What I love about The Quicky is that it starts where the headlines leave off and allows us to delve into the why. It’s about presenting the news in a way that allows listeners to come away feeling informed, confident and understanding what’s going on. I’ve always been passionate about storytelling and making complex things clear, and this is an amazing opportunity to do so with an incredible team.”
Mortlock has already begun work at Mamamia with Rose and Pettit joining later this month.
