Are Media launches dedicated beauty division with senior editorial appointments
The brand has appointed former MECCA and Myer executive Tara Lamont-Djite to lead it.

Are Media has expanded its beauty business with the creation of a dedicated beauty division, appointing former MECCA and Myer content leader Tara Lamont-Djite as its inaugural Head of Beauty, Luxury while promoting two long-serving editorial staff into newly created roles.
The new division brings together marie claire, ELLE, Beauty Crew, Beauty Heaven and Beauty Directory under a single beauty leadership structure as the publisher looks to strengthen one of its fastest-growing content categories.
New leadership for beauty portfolio
Lamont-Djite joins Are Media after senior content roles at Myer and MECCA, where she was Head of Content Strategy.
Before returning to Australia, she spent several years in New York in senior editorial positions across Hearst titles including ELLE, marie claire and Harper's BAZAAR, alongside roles with WSJ. Magazine, T Magazine, Bazaar.com and Beautylish. She began her publishing career at InStyle magazine in Australia.
As Head of Beauty, Luxury, Lamont-Djite will oversee content strategy and creative direction across Are Media's beauty brands. She starts on August 10.

Internal promotions expand team
Alongside Lamont-Djite's appointment, Are Media has promoted Delaney Loane to the newly created role of Beauty Editor, Luxury.
