Are Media and La Mer serve up luxury dining in Double Bay

A beauty brand and a food bible walk into a restaurant.

Are Media has teamed with luxury skincare brand La Mer to launch The Miracle Meal, a two-day immersive dining experience at Neil Perry’s Gran Torino in Sydney’s Double Bay, running Thursday 26 June and Friday 27 June.

Created through Gourmet Traveller and amplified across Are Media’s luxury portfolio – including ELLE Australia and marie claire – the experience translates La Mer’s famed Miracle Broth™ into a curated culinary moment.

Dine-in meals start from $50; a limited-edition takeaway box is available for $25.

From skincare ritual to dining table

Perry developed an exclusive menu drawing on La Mer’s oceanic origins – think a seafood-rich Miracle Broth™, a signature prawn roll, and a Marine Silk Martini.

The menu nods to the meticulous fermentation process behind the brand’s sustainably harvested sea kelp elixir, with Perry finding common ground between La Mer’s ethos of craftsmanship and patience, and his own culinary philosophy.

Guests dining in receive La Mer Mini Miracles valued at $95, featuring the brand’s day and night moisturisers.

A limited number of keepsake takeaway boxes will also be available daily, bundling the culinary offering with La Mer products.

Beyond the brief

“The Miracle Meal is a powerful example of how Are Media collaborates with brands to create experiences that are authentic, elevated and culturally relevant,” said Nicky Briger, General Manager, Luxury at Are Media.

“Through Gourmet Traveller’s authority in food and luxury lifestyle, combined with the reach and influence of our broader luxury network, we’re able to translate La Mer’s story into a tangible experience that drives both emotional connection and meaningful engagement.”

La Mer Brand General Manager Mariko Rex said the partnership offered a way to move beyond traditional campaign formats.

“La Mer is inspired by the transformative power of the sea, and The Miracle Meal gave us the opportunity to bring that story to life in an entirely new way,” Rex said.

“Through Gourmet Traveller’s trusted voice and longtime La Mer loyalist Neil Perry’s extraordinary culinary interpretation of La Mer’s famed Miracle Broth™, we are excited by this luxury experience that is both culturally relevant and deeply aligned to our brand values.”
