Melbourne Radio Ratings 2026 Survey 4: 3AW stays #1 as ABC Melbourne surges, NOVA 100 overtakes on cume

3AW remains Melbourne's clear market leader, up 0.2 points to 14.2%.

 The bigger stories are ABC Melbourne's strong overall rise and NOVA 100's cume surge, which has pushed it past every other station for total reach even without topping the share ladder. 

ABC Melbourne was the standout this survey, up 1.4 points to 5.5% - its cume also jumped 68,000. 

NOVA 100 added 0.9 to 8.9%, and its cume rose a huge 140,000 to 1,349,000, now the highest reach of any station in the market. 

101.9 FOX FM was up 0.4 to 9.2%. 

105.1 Triple M was the biggest faller, down 1.0 to 7.2%. smoothfm 91.5 dropped 0.8 to 9.5%, and GOLD104.3 fell 0.7 to 10.8%. GOLD's cume also fell 65,000, confirming a genuine audience slide rather than a measurement blip. 

Breakfast 

3AW's breakfast extended its lead, up 1.0 to 20.1%, more than double its nearest rival.

NOVA 100's breakfast also gained 1.0, to 10.4%, edging past GOLD104.3 (down 1.3 to 8.7%) for the #2 breakfast spot. 

101.9 FOX FM's breakfast added 0.5 to 10.0%. 105.1 Triple M's breakfast fell 1.0 to 6.3%, and 3JJJ's dropped 0.7 to 3.0%.
