In a heartfelt post shared on social media, Heatley reflected on his nearly two-decade career in front of the camera, describing his final day at Sky News Australia as the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
“After 17 incredible years on camera, today is my last day at Sky News Australia, and my final day on Australian television,” he wrote.
4BC has announced changes to its on-air lineup, confirming that Peter Fegan has finished up as host of 4BC Breakfast.
The announcement follows the release of the latest radio ratings, which showed 4BC Breakfast dipping to a 3.6% share, down from 4.1%. The station’s overall share rose slightly to 5.3% (up from 4.8%), while cumulative audience fell to 118,000 (-16,000).
Replacing Fegan will be Nine News weekend weatherman Luke Bradnam, who will temporarily step into the 4BC Breakfast chair from Monday.
