London Agency has hired Jack Walton, a former media and communications adviser in Federal Parliament, to strengthen its public affairs capabilities.
Walton brings close to four years of experience to the agency across the Senate, the House of Representatives and Victorian Central Coalition Headquarters.
His most recent role was advising the Federal Member for Menzies, Keith Wolahan MP, during the first term of the Albanese government.
Walton led digital strategy and content creation efforts and helped generate more than 10 million views across platforms. He also supported national media appearances across outlets such as ABC, Sky News, and Q+A.
In his new role, Walton will support clients seeking to drive healthcare improvement across Australia, focused on digital strategy, media engagement and policy insight.
“I have attended events at Parliament House hosted by London Agency and admired their work,” said Walton. “Now part of the team, I am looking forward to working with every level of government on all sides to create tangible outcomes for Australians.”
“At a time when the intersection between media, policy, and public opinion has never been more important, I’m looking forward to helping clients engage meaningfully with government and the broader public.”
London Agency Managing Director John Emmerson said Walton’s addition to the Agency provided important insight into the current political landscape.
“Jack’s first-hand political experience and digital-first approach to media will be an asset to our clients navigating complex public and policy landscapes,” Emmerson said.
Walton is currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and Finance, at the University of Melbourne.
London Agency is continuing to grow its Public Relations team and is currently hiring a PR Manager with at least three years of relevant experience in PR, agency or health.
