Paramount+ has unveiled the first-look trailer for NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the next chapter in the globally successful NCIS franchise which includes NCIS: Sydney.
The 10-episode original series is set to premiere later this year exclusively on the streaming platform.
Tony & Ziva picks up years after Ziva David’s apparent death and Tony DiNozzo’s subsequent decision to leave NCIS and raise their daughter, Tali. After Ziva reappeared for one final NCIS mission, the former agents reunited in Paris, where the new series is set as they are attempting to build a life together as a family.
Their attempt at domestic normalcy is short-lived. When Tony’s security firm is targeted in a mysterious attack, the pair must go on the run across Europe, piecing together who is hunting them and why. The series promises a mix of high-stakes action and emotionally charged storytelling, as Tony and Ziva navigate both danger and their complex relationship.
Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly return to their fan-favourite roles, joined by Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Julian Ovenden, Nassima Benchicou, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Terence Maynard, and James D’Arcy.
Behind the scenes, Tony & Ziva is helmed by showrunner John McNamara, who also serves as executive producer alongside de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals, and Mairzee Almas.
The series is produced by CBS Studios and distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
The launch of NCIS: Tony & Ziva adds further depth to Paramount+’s expanding NCIS universe, which already includes NCIS, NCIS: Sydney, NCIS: Hawai’i, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans.
The spinoff headlines a content-rich year for Paramount+, which continues to bolster its slate with high-profile originals such as Last King of The Cross (Season 2), The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers (Season 2), Fake, MobLand, Yellowjackets (Season 3), Landman, The Serial Killer’s Wife, Transformers One, and the anticipated Gladiator II.
