ENGIE Stadium has set a new attendance record after hosting two sold-out Bad Bunny concerts across the weekend, drawing close to 90,000 fans.
The back-to-back shows were Australian-exclusive dates on the artist’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour, with Sydney Showground saying the result reinforced the venue’s position in the local stadium concert market.

- Two sold-out Bad Bunny concerts were held across the weekend.

Darryl Jeffrey, Sydney Showground General Manager, said the result reflected “the strength of the venue and the evolution of Sydney’s stadium market”.
“To host two sold-out Bad Bunny concerts, exclusively in Australia, is a landmark moment for ENGIE Stadium. It demonstrates the confidence global promoters and artists have in our venue and in our ability to deliver major international events at scale,” Jeffrey said.

Why it matters for Sydney’s live events market
Sydney Showground said the weekend underscored Sydney’s ability to attract global touring artists, with Jeffrey positioning the concerts as a signal of demand for large international acts in the city.
“These events are about more than just two nights of incredible performances,” Jeffrey said. “They signal that ENGIE Stadium is firmly established as a venue capable of delivering global-tier moments and that there is demand for large international acts here in Sydney.

The venue said it has expanded its major event portfolio in recent years across international concerts, professional sport, and large-scale entertainment experiences, including Good Things, Knockout Outdoor, Green Day and Pearl Jam.
