Droga5 ANZ, part of Accenture Song, has been appointed by the New Zealand Olympic Committee to develop the brand strategy and creative campaign platform for the New Zealand Team at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The agency will lead the development of a fresh campaign platform for LA2028, designed to capture the spirit and pride of the New Zealand Team on one of the world’s most commercially ambitious and globally visible sporting stages.

The campaign will support the New Zealand Team’s brand presence in the lead-up to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, which takes place from 14th July to 30th July 2028.

Droga5 will work with the New Zealand Olympic Committee to build the platform, with the campaign expected to launch in July 2027, one year out from the Games.

Droga5 ANZ: "We can’t wait to get to work"

Alex Cooper-Cuthbert, Head of Brand and Marketing, New Zealand Olympic Committee, said: “The New Zealand Team has always represented something bigger than sport, carrying the stories, pride and spirit of Aotearoa New Zealand.

“In the build-up to Los Angeles 2028, we looked for a partner who could help us create an enduring platform that resonates deeply with New Zealanders and shows up powerfully on the world stage. Droga5 stood out for its strategic rigour, creative ambition and proven ability to build platforms that connect with people in a meaningful way.”

Steve Kane, Principal Director at Droga5 ANZ, said: “It is a privilege to partner with the New Zealand Olympic Committee on a platform for the New Zealand Team.
