Maltesers and its agency Publicis OneMars, have partnered with PEDESTRIAN.TV on a three-part reality-style content series, hosted by Brittany Hockley, following the winner of its $60,000 dream wedding competition.
More than 700 couples entered the nationwide competition in under three weeks, and NSW couple Bianca and James won. Their journey from wedding planning to the big day will run across PEDESTRIAN.TV’s digital and social platforms.
Hockley said: “That idea became the creative foundation for the PEDESTRIAN.TV original, From Indecision to ‘I Do’, which follows Bianca and James as they navigate all the ‘this or that’ moments that come with planning a wedding.”
"Wedding planning is full of those moments where you feel like you have to pick one thing and give up another, so I love that this series flips that idea on its head. Why should you have to choose when you can have both?
“Bianca and James have such a genuine story, and you can really see their different personalities come through in the choices they’re making. It was so much fun helping them navigate those moments and seeing their dream wedding come to life.”

Bianca and James have been together for seven years, have been engaged for almost four and are parents to twin boys. Maltesers said their contrasting ideas about the wedding made them a fit for the Maltesers Duos proposition.

Bianca said the experience gave the couple the chance to bring their different ideas together and create a wedding that felt true to both of them.
The competition launched alongside Maltesers Duos, and the series is tied to the product’s creative platform, ‘Making Indecision Delicious’. Hockley said the competition was a fun way to celebrate the Duos launch. The platform is built on the idea that when faced with two great choices, you can have both.
“We’d been engaged for years and kept going back and forth about what we wanted our wedding to actually look like, so the idea that we didn’t have to make those tricky choices was a weight off our shoulders,” Bianca said.
“We have different ideas about a lot of things, but I think that’s also what makes us work. Being able to bring those different sides together and celebrate this moment with our boys makes the whole experience so special.”
Each episode covers a different wedding dilemma, using reality-style storytelling and Hockley’s hosting to explore the decisions behind the couple’s wedding.
The PEDESTRIAN.TV original runs alongside social-first videos that put Australians’ wedding opinions to the test through quick-fire vox pops and prompts.
