Sophie Nathan appointed executive producer of Life Uncut
A former CADA breakfast host and digital manager steps in, backing Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne's LiSTNR-era growth.

Sophie Nathan has joined Life Uncut as executive producer, working alongside hosts Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne from 17 August 2026.
The appointment follows Life Uncut's move to LiSTNR earlier this year.
Nathan's background
Nathan brings seven years' experience across Australian and New Zealand radio, audio and digital content to the role.
She most recently served as breakfast host and producer at CADA, the ARN-owned youth station that topped Sydney's DAB+ rankings in GfK's Survey 3, 2026, before moving into the digital content manager role there.
Her wider career spans radio and television in both markets, including hosting New Zealand television show The Feed and a stint as head of social media for the NZ Breakers basketball team.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she has twice been a finalist for Best National New Broadcaster and once for Best Music Show at the New Zealand Radio Awards.

Life Uncut's move to LiSTNR
Nathan's appointment comes seven months after Life Uncut moved to LiSTNR, following Life Uncut's split from ARN at the end of 2025 after six years with the network. The podcast's new season launched on LiSTNR on 28 January 2026 with four episodes a week.
At the time, Hockley and Byrne cited more than 400,000 monthly listeners, over 100 million downloads and a top 10 spot on the Triton Australian Podcast Ranker.

Britt and Laura on the hire
Hockley and Byrne confirmed the appointment, saying Nathan was joining their "small but mighty team" and would bring "experience, ideas and energy to the community." "We've got big plans, and we're excited for this next chapter," they said.
Nathan, who had followed the podcast as a listener, said she had experienced "what it's like to be a 'lifer', listening along to the pod, joining discussions in the FB group" before joining the production team. "It is an absolute privilege to now be stepping in alongside them as EP and getting to be a part of the team," she said.
