Blobfish International has appointed Angelica Naranjo as its new head of client services and operations, in a newly created role.
Effective immediately, Naranjo will lead the Blobfish Australia team, overseeing content delivery across campaigns while also expanding the business through new remits, clients, and network partnerships.
Naranjo brings 15 years of media experience to the role, with a background spanning integrated content, experiential marketing, sponsorships and brand-funded projects.
She joins from Paramount Australia, where she worked as senior project manager on CommBank’s brand-funded content series, The Brighter Side.
Prior to that, she was head of original and integrated content at Mediabrands, where she helped establish Mediabrands Content Studios, the agency’s creative, sponsorships and experiential division.
During her time there, the studio delivered campaigns for brands including LEGO and won the 2023 Media Federation of Australia Grand Prix for its brand partnership with Nitro Circus.
Earlier in her career, Naranjo spent more than eight years at UM in account management before becoming director of UM Studios Australia, where she worked on original, co-branded and addressable content.

Blobfish International director Nicolas Cann said Naranjo’s appointment comes as the business looks to strengthen its client services capability and scale further in 2026.
