Blobfish International, which operates Australia’s largest sampling partner network, has announced an expansion into multiple new sectors to meet increasing client demand for more refined and diverse consumer engagement.
Broader reach for brand sampling
The updated network now includes partnerships with butchers’ boxes for meat and seafood deliveries, as well as sampling within childcare centres, swim schools, recreational centres, university campuses, and a variety of health and fitness venues, including gyms and yoga studios.
This expansion comes in response to sustained demand from brand partners for more targeted sampling solutions.
According to the company, several brands, including Kiddylicious Snacks and Aveeno in the parenting category, and F45 gyms in the fitness market, have already begun leveraging the extended reach of the new channels.
A data driven expansion
Blobfish’s proprietary first-party data is a key feature of the offering, enabling brands to target based on demographics, interests, and geographic location. One example includes using major sporting events such as the ‘Steak of Origin’ to align product samples in butchers’ boxes with relevant audience segments.
Joshua Schmidt, Owner and Director of F45 Noble Park, noted the benefits of the initiative: “Through Blobfish’s sampling, we’ve enhanced our relationship with our clients – they love the thoughtful extra touch in the gym, and it’s helped to drive consistent five-star reviews for our client experience.”
Bianca Gombarovic, Aquatic Programs Team Leader at Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre, added: “We partnered with Blobfish to sample nappies for local families. This initiative helps ease daily financial stress and has been well received by the community.”
Nicolas Cann, Director of Blobfish International, said: “Our expansion into several new key networks is testament to our commitment to connecting brands with consumers where they are, and in relevant moments with high engagement when they are most receptive to trial and discovery.”
He added that Blobfish remains the only Australian sampling company to build and manage its own controlled network, providing oversight on logistics and quality assurance.
