BINGE has launched as a Prime Video add-on subscription in Australia, opening another distribution channel for Foxtel Group’s streaming service, with plans starting at $19 a month.

The deal makes BINGE Prime Video’s 32nd Australian add-on subscription partner. Customers can choose between Standard at $19 a month and Premium at $22 a month, accessing its entertainment, selected live sport and news within the Prime Video app.

For Foxtel Group, the partnership creates another way to reach viewers. For Prime Video, it expands a subscription line-up that includes HBO Max, Apple TV, Paramount+, MGM+ and Hayu.

Another route to viewers

Foxtel Group’s executive director – content and commercial partnerships, Stephanie Quinn, said the agreement would broaden access to BINGE.

“It’s a compelling proposition, bringing together must-watch global series, standout Australian originals, live sport and trusted news, alongside Prime Video’s extensive content library. We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for more Australians to discover BINGE’s incredible content. Our partnership with Prime Video opens up a new way for customers to access BINGE, extending our reach while making our breadth of premium entertainment more accessible.”

BINGE’s offering includes Australian titles Colin From Accounts, Wentworth and High Country, alongside international programming including The Five Star Weekend, American Horror Story, Outlander: The Final Season, Yaga, The Real Housewives of New York City, Saturday Night Live and The Day of the Jackal.

Selected live sport from Kayo SPORTS is also available, including AFLW, NRLW, and select AFL, NRL, BBL, and WBBL games, with no ad breaks during play. The offering also includes F1 Kayo Minis, surfing and live news channels such as News24, BBC News, FOX SPORTS News and CNBC.

Alexandra Gilbert, head of content for Prime Video Australia and New Zealand, said BINGE added to the platform’s viewing and subscription options.

“As a first-stop entertainment destination, Prime Video offers customers a vast selection of premium content from Amazon MGM Studios Original series and movies, to licensed favourites, live sports, the ability to rent or buy thousands of new and popular movies, and add-on subscriptions,” said Gilbert.

"We're excited to welcome BINGE to Prime Video as our 32nd add-on subscription partner in Australia, strengthening our commitment to providing customers with unparalleled variety, world-class content and the flexibility to build their ideal entertainment experience, all in one app."

The add-on subscriptions sit alongside Amazon MGM Originals, including Off Campus, Reacher, The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Fallout, as well as movie rentals, purchases and live sport.
