Mediaweek can confirm several roles within ARN Media’s promotions team have been made redundant, as the company continues to navigate its legal dispute with former star performers Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
The exact number of redundancies has not been confirmed, though a well-placed source told Mediaweek the figure is “under 10”.
The redundancies appear to be concentrated within ARN’s promotions function, a division typically responsible for audience engagement, activations, and on-ground brand presence across stations, including CADA.
While ARN has yet to publicly comment on the changes, the cuts come at a sensitive time for the business, as it manages both internal restructuring and ongoing legal tensions tied to its marquee talent.
Staff signal movement
Last week, CADA promotions manager Aida Evanian publicly signalled her departure from the business, confirming she was seeking new opportunities.

“Hi everyone! I’m seeking a new role and would appreciate your support. If you hear of any opportunities or just want to catch up, please send me a message or comment below. I’d love to reconnect.”
Her post, shared on LinkedIn, comes amid broader uncertainty within the promotions team following the confirmed redundancies.
Legal woes
The redundancies come as Sandilands and Henderson prepare to appear in the Federal Court next Friday for separate case management hearings, as their legal action against ARN continues.
Both presenters are seeking more than $80 million in damages following the termination of their contracts and the cancellation of their KIIS FM breakfast show, in a dispute that continues to weigh heavily on one of Australian radio’s most commercially significant partnerships.
Mediaweek has contacted ARN Media for comment.
