Nova Network’s Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small will be setting his alarm clock for two weeks from Monday 26 June, when he hosts Nova’s national breakfast show On Air With Smallzy weekdays from 6am to 9am.
Smallzy has built a loyal following in nights on evening show Smallzy’s Surgery, and is no stranger to the breakfast audience having hosted Nova’s national summer breakfast numerous times.
Sarah McGilvray, Nova Network’s program director network shows said, “We are excited to let a whole new audience enjoy Smallzy’s brilliant broadcasting style. The show is going to bring a fresh sound to breakfast which we think Australia will love.”
Smallzy will bring breakfast listeners exclusive celebrity interviews including Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Hemsworth, Michael Bublé, Jason Derulo, Anthony Ramos, Margot Robbie and her Barbie movie co-stars and Tom Cruise with the stars of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.
Smallzy said, “I’m pumped to wake up early and spend my mornings behind the mic with Australia again. Whilst some shows may be on leave, it’s never been busier with Hollywood superstars Tom Cruise and Margot Robbie in town plus Taylor Swift announcing her tour…it’s going to be an exciting few weeks on air!”
With over 14 million views on TikTok and over 180K followers on socials, Smallzy has been the host of Smallzy’s Surgery since 2012, giving listeners access to stars, music and entertainment news, and the freshest hit music.
On Air With Smallzy will be heard from 6am to 9am in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, from Monday 26 June to Friday 7 July, on the Nova Network. While Perth listeners will continue to enjoy the best of Nathan, Nat & Shaun in breakfast over the survey break, listeners across the country can tune in via the Nova Player.
