• The Australian Open continues Nine’s winning streak

Nine has continued the winning streak that it has held since it kicked off the Australian Open. With the annual tennis tournament serving as the broadcasters curtain-raiser to its new slate of content, Nine has gotten its desired result, with strong numbers across the board. Last night Nine was the top primary channel with 27.5% and also the top network with 38.1%.

Even though Nick Kyrgrios was knocked out of the men’s singles draw, Nine was still able to put a local act on in prime time as Alex De Minaur defeated Pablo Andujar.
